Content is at the heart of every customer journey, and together, Idio and Episerver are aligned on the value of delivering personalized content throughout that customer experience.
At Idio, we have been defining and delivering the 1:1 engagement platform for some of the largest B2B enterprises in the world. This will continue, with what Idio has built in terms of team, process and technology forming a core part of the Episerver customer-centric strategy. Episerver will keep Idio as a standalone product for its customers current and future, whilst thoughtfully planning how to integrate Idio into Episerver for their existing customers.
Episerver is a digital experience platform, which includes content management, commerce, personalization and analytics (the latter roadmap for which Idio will rapidly accelerate to become market-leading). For five consecutive years, Episerver, has been named a leader in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Web Content Management, and its vision is “a world where digital experiences mirror the empathy and convenience of face-to-face interaction.”
This acquisition enables us to execute the plan in front of us, with a better resourced team, and a more expansive product roadmap – meaning you will get more value sooner. Your investment is now backed by a much larger company with greater access to global markets, and a wide partner ecosystem. You can expect Idio to operate in “business as usual” mode whilst further integration plans are made for 2020.
The entire Idio team are joining the Episerver family. Ed and Andrew, Idio’s co-founders, are committed to help lead the combined organization, and will become shareholders in Episerver, based on a strong enthusiasm for years of combined growth.
The combined company, with the financial backing from Insight Partners, intend to aggressively grow our deployment and success teams, as well as a significant acceleration in product innovation to help marketers achieve greater value from customer-centric marketing.
